Our Story

Carina Hults-Mann is a Native American women farmer, wife and mother, dedicated to nurturing the land and cultivating sustainable agricultural practices. As a first-generation, women-owned farmer, she embodies resilience, passion, and a deep connection to the earth.

Born and raised with a profound reverence for nature, Carina's journey into farming was a natural evolution of her upbringing. Rooted in her ancestral heritage, she embarked on a mission to redefine farming practices, blending traditional wisdom with modern innovation.

In 2024, Carina embarked on an exciting new venture, launching her own nursery with a vision to propagate not only plants but also sustainable values within her community. She has a commitment to organic soil management and expertise in agriculture science, underscored by a Bachelor's degree from Oregon State University.

Drawing from over five years of hands-on experience working on local, organic, and sustainable farms, Carina brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the intricate balance between soil health and plant vitality. Prior to her formal education, she honed her skills by cultivating vegetables from seed in her backyard, laying the groundwork for her future endeavors.

At the heart of Carina’s journey is her role as a mother to her daughter, Sahalie, and a partner to her husband, Mikheal Audrey. As she nurtures her own business, she instills in her daughter the same values of stewardship and respect for the land that have guided her own journey.

While Mikheal currently works full-time to support the family financially, his evenings and weekends are devoted to their shared dream of running a farm together. Mikheal’s upbringing on animal farms instills in him a profound love for farm animals, complementing Carina’s expertise in crop cultivation.

Together, Carina and Mikheal embody the essence of partnership and shared purpose, as they work toward a future where they can fully devote themselves to their agricultural pursuits as a family. Their vision transcends mere farming; it is a testament to the transformative power of love, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to building a sustainable legacy for generations to come.
